A collection of Game Design Documents I've produced as either a thought exercise, pitches, or for class.
Fenced
My personal favorite game design, Fenced is a PVP stealth game with MOBA-inspired elements. Borrowing from Team Fortress 2 and Splinter Cell, players must work together to steal goods from a Museum before the other team does but they must remain alert for guards, cameras, and other traps. You can read the full document here.
Fullmeatl Alchemist: Ishval
My second attempt at pitching a licensed franchise. FMA:Ishval pits the player in the role of a custom alchemist during the Ishval Civil War. Players command troops and wield alchemy to bring the war to a close but at what cost? You can read the full document here.
Wu Kwan
Tasked with creating a game design that did not use hit points but still involved combat, I created Wu Kwan. The design is influenced heavily by Chinese Martial Arts. In the game, the player is asked to learn different combos and preform there for a teacher. Once they learn enough they can challenge senior students to ring out bouts wherein the loser is the first to land on their back. You can view more here.
